Family Matters Genealogy offers a variety of services to assist those new to genealogy or those who are experienced but need a second set of eyes to scale a brick wall. Although I have preset research packages, let’s discuss your needs and I can customize a package to get you the information that you are seeking.
KUBWA PACKAGE
The KUBWA PACKAGE consists of 50 hrs of research time, covering both the maternal AND paternal direct line ancestors. A written report, called a Family Narrative, is included in this package. The report contains a copy of all footnoted documentation, a pedigree chart and a research plan to guide the balance of any additional research needed. Any specific questions, called the Scope of Services, that the client has about the research will be answered in the report. If you have a family genealogy site to store your tree, it will be uploaded to the site with the client’s permission.
This package ranges from $1250 to $1450, depending on the number of questions in the Scope of Service.
KATI PACKAGE
The KATI PACKAGE consists of 25 hrs of research time, covering either the maternal OR paternal direct line ancestor. A written report, called a Family Narrative, is included in this package. The report contains a copy of all footnoted documentation, a pedigree chart and a research plan to guide the balance of any additional research needed. Any specific questions, called the Scope of Services, that the client has about the research will be answered.
This package ranges from $750 to $850, depending on the number of questions in the Scope of Service.
NDOGO PACKAGE
The NDOGO PACKAGE consists of 10 hrs of research time that will answer no more than three specific questions. A written report, called a Family Narrative, is included in this package. The report contains a copy of all footnoted documentation and a research plan to guide the balance of any additional research needed.
This package ranges from $425 to $525, depending on the number of questions to be answered in the Scope of Service.
HOTUBA PACKAGE
The HOTUBA PACKAGE allows a group to book a 2-hour presentation on researching African American Genealogy. The presentation includes a workbook. Mileage more than 10 miles incurs an additional travel cost. $200 & up
KITABU ADD-ON PACKAGE
KITABU ADD-ON PACKAGE – Family reunion history booklet can be created from the Family Narrative from either the KATI and KUBWA PACKAGES. The client can provide up to 25 pictures. Price is contingent on the number of booklets ordered. $350 and up
JENI ADD-ON PACKAGE
JENI ADD-ON PACKAGE – DNA results interpretation with KATI and KUBWA PACKAGES. This package includes a one page report to analyze Ancestry or 23 & Me DNA testing results to answer questions the client may have. Price is $125.
